My Little Monster

One of my more fanciful little lizards. I have been calling it "My Little Monster" due to the look of the head piece.

This is also a pin, suitable for wearing. The ribbon spool picture was included to give some idea of the size of the lizard.

The back piece is woven bead work, mostly size 11 Delica seed beads, with a few bugle beads. I did the very fancy back piece to match the shininess of the head ornament. The head ornament is plastic coated copper core with with a bit of brass wire as ornament. My fiance calls it a Sparkle Lizard...after the unrealistic look and even more unrealistic colors of the lizard.

The figure is wire core with fabric skin. The horns are plastic coated copper wire and brass wire. The claws are plastic coated copper wire. The back ornament is seed beads woven on copper wire. The tail hook is brass wire.
